MAD MEN season 5

I love the imagery (shown below) and how the lighting was used to portray a slightly retro and ardently intriguing emotion on the cast. I only wish AMC would have credited the photographer. Also, Janie Bryant deserves a shout out for her thoughtful and accurate execution of costume design and presentation. I have no idea why I love this show…at times it just seems like I’m in the room of the actors but they are people I know and it’s just a day in the life…I guess that is why it is so good…it feels so real.

Joan…”I am a sex bomb and I am not afraid to light the cord.”

Peggy…”I am pensive…but I know I am smart, perhaps smarter than YOU…cool under pressure.”

Roger…”I hate getting old and the new turks piss me off…I’m going on a come back tour.”

Don...”I’m suave’ and I’m cool…a liar under it all but I have a plan.. I am ‘THE DON’.”

Peter..”I know I’m a little prick. I am not to be trusted. I am intimidated by my wife’s family, and I will stab you and my momma in the back to get what I want.”

Betty…”Inside I know I am emotionally unbalanced and I wish I could have married my daddy..wait, ARE you my daddy?”

Lane…”Well ‘ole chap, there’s no mystery here…I’m British..and that’s all you need to know.”
