What I’m Seeing for Spring

Its about ease and entrance impact this spring. That’s right; entrance impact! I am in love with this asymmetrical yet soft spring ensemble from Ferre! He has used monochromatic colors with earth tones that scream style, but in a soft tone. The black and gold accessories give the look a foundation and grounds it for the eye but doesn’t overpower its gentle persuasion. The draping cascade  behaves much like a scarf, falling next to the tucked belt. It is simply genius. Well done!

These double strap belts were in fashion back in the early 80′s if I remember correctly.I can’t help feeling an equestrian ring to the call. I see this belt paired with a simple soft dress or long fitted blouse. Think Tatum O’neal in National Velvet or Meryl Streep in Out of Africa.Hmmm..the memories!

The scallops and the gold and the symmetry of lines….Did I dream this or is it real? This dress is such a feast for the eyes that I’m not sure if I would wear it or frame it for my living room. Laura B. welcome back to A-list!

If Elizabeth Taylor were still alive I KNOW she would have these on her feet. Egyptian style dripping in fanciful ahhh’s!!! Oh, Oscar!

The 1920′s were the era of fun, dance, body revealing sheaths, and women breaking free of post war angst. Lovely beading and sequins placed artistically and paired with a peek-a-boo chiffon and silk gives a decadent entrance of vintage va-va-vooooooom! Hello Temperley!
